  Lunch combo for under $13, not bad.  I had a hot pastrami Sammy.  Pretty simple sandwich, nothing fancy (wheat bread, mayo, lettuce, onion and meat) here but the Pastrami was fantastic.

  I give it 3 1/2 stars.
  
  It's a mall shop with plenty of seating.
  
  Hubby had half a sandwich which he said was very good.   I had the tomato Florentine soup and it was just ok.  I'm a soup lover.
  
  The staff was friendly.   I'm sure this place gets busy during the week at lunch.  I was there around 6pm and it was quiet.
  
  Will I be back?   Hubby might but me for soup.. nah.

  First time trying Baines Deli. My sandwhich looked good..tasted good.. just wasn't great for the price.. there was only 1 piece of lettuce.. $8 dollars for a Turkey and Swiss on Rye.. I definitely would have expected more than 1 piece of lettuce. Guys at the counter were nice, but as a previous post stated.. you can get a bigger, better sandwich that comes with chips and a drink elsewhere for a better price.  I might come back and try a combo for good measure lol

  ~Bain's Deli has a visually appealing spread, but don't let that fool you.. I asked for #1 combo (sandwich, cold side, & medium drink) for 9.25$, I thought I was getting a good deal until I went up to the register & the Asian lady tried to charge me 12$. She said the bread I picked didn't come with the combo...  I asked the why wouldn't the gentleman behind the counter notify me? The lady couldn't give me a straight answer, & then proceeded to try & rush my checkout. I stopped her & tried to explain how it was a bit unfair, she took my cold side of macaroni away & still tried to charge me 11$..After a horrible checkout experience I ended up paying $10.50 for a medium drink & small sub..
  
  The only reason why this is 2 stars & not 1 was because the meat quality was actually fairly good.
  
  The Don does not approve of this establishments customer service, & will not be back~

  I observed a few things here.  While the attention to the customer is admiral, there are times when there is a customer who wants something small and can be ignored.
  Having two people, but only one is authorized to handle money, is very inefficient and makes no sense.
  "Light ice" as a request means "a small amount of ice", not "a lot".  This request was even repeated and it was still done wrong.
